The Hach Scientific Foundation would like to offer second career chemical education scholarships to chemists. The Hach Scientific Foundation is a private multi-million dollar foundation dedicated to chemistry and chemical education. The Hach Scientific Foundation provides scholarships across the country to chemists interested in pursuing either a Masters in education or teachers certificate. The requirements for scholarship acceptance are the following:
- Applicant must have a Bachelors degree or higher in either chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering.
- Applicant must have worked in a chemistry-related field.
- Applicant must be in pursuit of become a chemistry teacher.
- Applicant must be accepted into either an education masters program or teacher certification program.
- Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicant's two page essay stating your interest in teaching.
- Applicants resume and transcript.
- Applicant's proof of acceptance into an education masters program.
- Applicants' selection of a university including a timeline toward graduation.
