I moved to Oklahoma when I was 8 years old. My family currently lives in Edmond, where they have resided for 12 years. I graduated with a certificate of distinction cum laude diploma from Deer Creek High School in Edmond in May 2005. I am currently in my third year of studying Chemistry at Oklahoma State University. Spring of my freshman year, I decided I would like to pursue my teaching certificate as well. Since then I have taken several education courses that have more than convinced me I am on the right career path. I am currently observing two chemistry classes at Stillwater High School where I have had the opportunity to work with many students on understanding some aspects of Chemistry.
I plan to graduate in May 2009 from OSU, whereupon I will get married and, as of now, move to Kansas City, Missouri or Denver, Colorado, where I plan to pursue my career. I am open to teaching in any area, be it urban, suburban, or rural, as long as I have a classroom of students that I can introduce to the amazing world of Chemistry.
