Evan Miller
My name is Evan Miller and I am from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I grew up in Kill Devil Hills and went to high school at Manteo High in Manteo where I enjoyed math and science. My science classes were enriched with wonderful activities, labs, and teachers that I admired and wished to emulate. I went on to North Carolina State University where I began majoring in chemistry only to discover that I also wished to teach. I was hired the following summer at Camp Trinity to be a Counselor to youths for ten weeks. I have been back for two additional summers as both a Pool Coordinator and the Arts and Crafts Coordinator. These summers have both aided in my personal growth and my teaching abilities. I am currently student teaching at Middle Creek High School in Apex, NC and I will graduate with two degrees in Secondary Science Education and Chemistry in May of 2008.
