Stephanie Schuyler is a sophomore at the University of Connecticut. She is currently pursuing her B.S. in chemistry. For the past two summers she has had the opportunity to intern in an organic chemistry lab at Pfizer inc. in Groton Connecticut. This experience has made her come to love research in the pharmaceutical world of chemistry. She hopes to dive right into the industry directly out of college. Stephanie hopes to expand her experience in chemistry through research while pursuing her teaching certification in Connecticut. Stephanie plans to teach at the high school level. However, she believes that doing the chemistry is essential before teaching it. In her free time, Stephanie likes to play the piano, build sandcastles on the beach, play poker, and paint. She is an active member of the ’ÄúRelay for Life’Äù (benefits the American Cancer Society) and loves to do random acts of kindness.
